A Presentation on the significance of the creative economy for southern countries and the importance of artists in generating economic, social and cultural growth. The presentation will draw on an experience which brought together artists from Brazil, Rwanda and Kenya within the setting of the World Cultural Forum held in Rio de Janeiro in November 2006.
