This workshop will focus on the struggle of oppressed peoples in the Gulf Coast to rebuild their own communities, fight for the right of return, and confront the racism and human rights violations of the United States government. It will also focus on the International Tribunal on Hurricanes Katrina and Rita being organized in New Orleans, Louisiana August 28th – September 2nd, 2007.
