Scholars-Activists and the World Social Forum Process

The conference and the debate shall address the following issues: What are the place and the role for scholars in the WSF process? How to make research on the WSF process in a way that helps the movement for global justice in making a better world? What are the specific actions and strategies that scholars-activists can bring back home in order to change there own context and bridge with local social movements? How would a scholars-activists network be efficient and useful in the context described above? The activity will by participative and opened to everyone, with a short period for guests speakers' interventions, and a large period for an open debate. All participants will be invited to become members of INoSA.
