A seminar on alternative dispute resolution mechanisms employed by the pastrolist communities in the ethnic clashes prone district of Marsabit District in Kenya. Given the marginalization of this district and the resources and identity related ethnic clashes that have been going on, alternative dispute resolution machanisms, spearheaded by the clan elders and supported by NGOs working in the area have proved to be pivotal in the resolving of constant disputes and maintainance of order.
