Economist Adam Smith said capitalism is built around human nature.

People commit their resources — time, money and energy — to activities that benefit them. During the World Economic Forum and the World Social Forum, the ugly face of capitalism was evident.

However, much people condemn capitalism, it remains the way of life for many. People start businesses to make profit. It is capitalism that makes the US and other West European countries the envy of the world.

Their citizens are proud of their countries because of quality healthcare, security, good infrastructure, education and clean water.

Microsoft, Wal-Mart and MacDonald’s are what they are because of entrepreneurs who thought big and succeeded.
