There are several factors that made it difficult to associate with the just concluded World Social Forum in Nairobi. It must be said that many people, residents and visitors, who attended the forum were hoodwinked by the topics under discussion — human rights, corruption and discrimination.
But it had ulterior motives, including promoting homosexuality. Whatever argument for or against the vice, the conference should have been about socially and morally acceptable issues.
Homosexuality should not have been one of them. It is a practice that many people in Kenya would not want to associate with.
